The Jordan Ultra.Fly is the brand’s latest performance model, and they look like they could end up being an on-court favorite for some.
These use a molded mesh upper with what looks like a rubber overlay for structure, support, and protection for the material underneath it. They feature a newly sculpted midsole, that is reminiscent of the Nike Kyrie 2, along with articulated Zoom Air in the forefoot — the same unit we saw in the CP3.IX. Traction looks very interesting. It looks like it’ll cover you laterally, but linear movements and stops may or may not be covered.
The shoe is geared towards guards, but can be used by most positions. Something that blends the CP and Super.Fly line together in a way that provides players that wish to have a lightweight shoe be supportive enough while also offering low profile cushion.
These are due out in stores the first week of April and retail will be listed at $125. Let us know what you think of the upcoming Jordan Ultra.Fly below and stay tuned for a performance review after they’ve released.
